Birth time precision reconsidered

Author: Ertel, Prof. Suitbert
Abstract: Precision of birth time recordings greatly increases between 1800 – 1950, while key sector percentages do not. This puzzling lack of a correlation is somewhat weakened by three additional observations possibly indicating an effect of record precision in different ways.
Keywords: Gauquel effect, precision of birth records, obstetric depression hypothesis
